Obituary for Alejandro Benavides Jr.
Alejandro "Al" Benavides Jr. age 74, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, with his loving family by his side. He was born to Alejandro and Belen Benavides on May 17, 1947 in Laredo, TX. Alex enlisted in Army in August 1968, where he served for two years, earning the National Defense Service and Sharpshooter medal. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all those who truly loved him.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his loving wife Marie, children, Yolanda(Kevin)Cantwell, Laura(Chris) Tauber, Philip(Elizabeth) Benavides, Jared(Tracy)Benavides, 14 grandchildren, 6 great children, and sister Virginia Siegel.
Alejandro is preceded in death by his parents Alejandro and Belen, and sisters Angela Perez and Erma Robertson.
Services for Alex will be held on Friday, July 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm with a visitation starting at 10am till the time of the service at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S Halleck Street DeMotte, IN.
