Alta Shryock age 81, passed away with her loving family by her side in, Valparaiso, IN under hospice care. She was born on September 21, 1941 to Frank and Norma Turner in Hartwell, Missouri. Alta enjoyed gardening, loved her granddaughters, and many say she had a feisty sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son: David, and daughter: Michelle(James) Alex, 3 granddaughters, brothers: Frank(Candy) Turner, and Robby(Paula) Sanderson, and sister: Betty Lou Stanifer. She is preceded in death by her husband: David Shryock, and her parents: Frank and Norma.

Per her wishes a direct burial will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
