Obituary for Arlene Fraser
Arlene E. Fraser age 83, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart, IN with her family by her side. She was born on March 22, 1938 to Phillip and Helen Klein in East Chicago, IN. She is known for holding the Joslin Medal for 61 years, the Lily Medal, being a Volunteer at the American Legion Post 440, going on trips with friends, and working puzzles, loved her grand children and great grand children. Arlene was a vibrant woman that lived life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left behind to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 65 years John, daughters, Rita(Thomas) Saberniak, son, Neal Fraser, grandchildren: Michael Saberniak, and Cathy(Michael) Dainton, great grand children: Nicholas, Lucas, and Liam, and her beloved pet Beagle Mollie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Helen Klein, brother Phil Klein, sister, Mariann Earnhart, and grandson Nicholas Saberniak.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S Halleck Street, DeMotte, IN and a Mass will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10am at St. Edward Church, in Lowell, IN with Father Rick Holy officiating.
