Obituary for Bobby Simser

Bobby Simser age 58, of Portage passed away on January 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 19, 1963 to David Simser and June Carter Pugh in Newmarket, England. He was a Mechanical Assembler at Daifuku North America in Hobart, IN. Where he was known as, "The Candy Man" because he always had candy in his pocket for everyone. In his spare time he loved watching his favorite movies and tv shows, playing board games, listening to music, and watching his favorite guitarist, John Petrucci. Bobby was a fun-loving person always making people laugh with his jokes, he had a big, kind heart and would always be the first one to help someone out no matter what it was. He loved to study the Bible, his favorite Scripture was 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV

Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 8 years Vickie Simser, former wife Evelyne Mallet Simser, children: David and Melissa, step-children: Bri Vespo (Jenee Adams) and Josh(Brittney) Young, granddaughter: Charlie Simser, step-grandchildren: Makynzie Vespo, and Laci Young, parents :David and June: brother Donny(Zelia) Simser, sister: Debbie Simser, Aunt: Josephine Carter, Nephews: Joshua Simser and Alex Grana:, Nieces: Brooke Grana, Rhiannon Villanueva, great nieces: Destiny Grana, Chloe Grana, Sara Villanueva, and Emmy Villanueva.

Bobby is preceded in death by his grandparents: Reginald and Violet Carter, and Jerb and Harriet Simser, brother Larry Simser.

Per his wishes there will be no services scheduled at this time.
