Charlotte Flatt age 87, passed away at Lowell Healthcare Center on Saturday, April 22, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 14, 1936, in Terre Haute, IN to Fred and Hazel Smith. Charlotte enjoyed playing the piano at St. Theresa and St. Augustine Catholic Church, was a Cub Scout leader, the President of CCW, (Council of Catholic Women), was a wonderful artist, and worked at the Senior Center in Roselawn. In 1952, she proudly won Homecoming Queen for Kankakee Valley. Most of all, Charlotte loved being with her family and enjoying life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlotte is survived by her children: Dana, Dawn, Denny, Danette, and Rose, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Donald, parents: Fred and Hazel, grandson: D.J Baldwin, and brother: Ronald Smith.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 10-11am, and Mass at 11am at St. Augusta Catholic Church, located at 3228 IN-10 Lake Village, IN. Burial will follow at Orchard Grove Cemetery, located in Lowell, IN.
