Dorothy A. Broniszewski, age 88, of DeMotte passed away on June 12, 2021 at Gabriel's Home in Valparaiso, IN. Dorothy was born on July 26, 1932 to John and Lillian Mccadden in Chicago, Illinois. Dorothy loved
life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was very active and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, shopping and attending all types of events. · Two of her favorites were concerts her son-in-law played trumpet in and her annual trips to Arizona. She was an active member at the Fase Center for several years and enjoyed many friends and activities there.
She is survived by daughter Susan (Dan) Buhring, sister Lillian Mccadden, granddaughter Brandi Buhring and grand-dog Vinny. She is also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister Marie (Herbert) Schmidt and brother John (Joanne) Mccadden.
Per Dorothy's wish cremation was chosen. Double interment for Robert and Dorothy will be at the Abraham Lincoln Veteran's Cemetery on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:30pm. A Celebration of Life for family and friends to honor Dorothy will take place on Saturday, August 14 at 2:00pm at the home of Dan and Susan Buhring.
Dorothy will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Frazier Funeral Home in DeMotte, IN has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family have requested that donations be given to the Cancer Society.
