Douglas H. Fritts age 44, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Franciscan Health Crown Point. He was born in Valparaiso, IN to Curtis and Debra Fritts on August 3, 1978. He worked in construction as a Draftsman for many years. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, attending gun and knife shows, antique car shows, enjoyed watching The White Sox, and Dallas Cowboys, and Paracording, most of all he loved his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Douglas is survived by his four children: Christian(18), Joseph(14), Jake(9), and Carter(7), parents: Curtis and Debra, sister: Crystal, niece: Nevaeh, many Aunts and Uncles, and two ex-wives: Kimberly Kozlowski, and Jennifer Fritts. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ronald and Bonnie Sherman, grandfather: Leon Fritts.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 10am-12pm and Mass at 12pm at St. Cecilia Church located at 334 15th Street SW, DeMotte, IN. Father Michael McKinney officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
