Eddie Podgorski age 76, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Franciscan Health Care in Crown Point, IN with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 3, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Wanda Podgorski and was a vibrant man who loved life and enjoyed many hobbies, whether it was volunteering at Lake Village Fire Department or making dinners for The Grange in Lake Village, he was always doing something that brought him joy. He enjoyed watching his favorite movie, "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou", and at 9pm every night he would have some of his children come over and watch reruns of Johnny Carson. Eddie loved fishing, traveling, going to Antique Car and Tractor Shows, and working on small engines, most of all he enjoyed being with his family, especially when he was able to be with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he would always tease them about something. He is reunited with his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, and wife of 56 years, Glenda Podgorski, who recently passed away suddenly on March 22, 2023. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Eddie is survived by his children: Joe(Ronda), Tina(Randy) Smart, Eddie(Cindy), Tausha(John) Robinette, Traci(Steven) Mraz, 17 grandchildren: 9 great grandchildren: Six very close cousins, Regina, Bob, Sue, Mary, Jana, Terry, and Stormi. He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Podgorski, mother: Wanda Podgorski, grandson: Daniel, and grandparents: Joe and Mary Podgorski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 10am till 12 pm and a funeral service at 12pm at Frazier Funeral Home, located at 621 S Halleck Street, DeMotte, IN. with Pastor Ronald Gann officiating. Internment will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
