Elaine Witt age 83 of Hebron, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on February 1,1940 in Valparaiso, IN to Ronald and Helen Michiaels . Elaine was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed being a part of her family and community. She was the organist for many years at St. Cecilia's and St. Helens church, a piano teacher, Sunday school teacher, Member of St. Helen's Altar and Rosary Society, boy scout leader, loved making quilts, avid baker and winemaker. She also was a member of Right to Life, organist for the local funeral homes, and weddings. She had a big heart and smile that would light up a room and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Witt Sr: 11 children Bob Jr(Roxanne), Dave(Michelle), Shelly(Troy) Manago, Tom(Susan), Tim(Christine), Julie(John) Samardak, Debbie(Mark) Rigg, Kathy, Steve(Kelly), Don(Ashleigh), and Becky(Kevin) Joseph: 35 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren: brother, Ron Jr: sister, Sharon: grand dogs Tilly and Buddy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Helen Michiaels, her 3 angel babies, mother and father in law, Paul and Matilda Witt, sister's,Carole, and Roni Lou.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 2-8 pm at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S Halleck Street, DeMotte, IN. Mass will be held at 10am on Friday, February 10, 2023 at St. Cecilia Church located at 334 15th Street SW DeMotte, IN with Father Michael McKinney officiating. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery.
