Obituary for James Elwood Clouse
James E. Clouse age 85, of DeMotte passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. James was born to Anna Marie McCormack and Daniel Clouse in Horse Branch, KY on August 18, 1935.
James was an avid gardener, loved growing vegetables, especially tomatoes. He also enjoyed sharing all he grew with his family and close friends. James proudly worked for 31 years at the Ford Motor Company at the Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights, IL. James will be missed by all who truly knew and loved him.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his daughters, Cheri (Christian) Donkle, Kimberly (Brian) Johnstone, sisters, Patricia (David) Keeling, Faye (Wayne) Brown, brother Daniel (Anita) Clouse and many nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Loretta (Lanham) Clouse, son James Daniel, parents Anna Marie and Daniel Clouse, son in law Christian Donkle, sister Betty, and her children, Barb and Spencer Morris.
Funeral services for James will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00am at Redeemer Church in Roselawn, IN with Pastor Joel Gilbert Officiating. Internment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S. Halleck Street DeMotte, IN from 4-7 pm.
