Kathleen Owens age 74, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Life Care Center in Valparaiso. She was born on August 7, 1946 in Linwood, KY to George and Frances Woodward. Kathleen enjoyed doing many different activities which included gardening, sewing, reading, birdwatching, traveling, Covered Bridge Festival, and riding Harleys. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children, John(Darcy) Jackson, Brenda(Darrin) Messer, Cheryl Owens (Rob Beiswanger Fiance), and Duane Jackson, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sisters Peggy Grissom, and Ruby Ballard, brothers Bryon, Robert, Kenneth, and Frankie.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Franklin(Tommy) Owens, sisters Betty, and Patricia, brothers James and Danny, parents Frances and George, stepfather George Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10am CST with visitation on Friday, July 9, 2021 4-8 pm CST at Frazier Funeral Home in DeMotte IN located at 621 S Halleck Street.
