Obituary for Keith Crawley

Keith Crawley age 68, of DeMotte passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Northwest Health Porter in Valparaiso with his loving family by his side. Born on June 2,1953 to Norman and Margery Crawley in Gary, IN he grew up to love life and enjoy every minute of it. In the 8th grade he was at a birthday party when he meet the love of his life Terry, they dated through high school and married on June 17, 1972. In 1975, they moved to Roselawn, IN and have lived here since. Keith has many different hobbies and has self-taught himself everything he knew, there was nothing he could not do. He could take an old car and repaint it to look like new, he painted a semi truck with Imron paint and it ended up featured in Over Drive Magazine. He loved the Green bay Packers, John Wayne Movies, and was proud to be a part of the Masonic Lodge #157, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. Keith was a Certified Lock Smith for 43 years and worked for Inland Steel(Mittal Steel) as a Welder Millwright and retired after 40 years. He was mostly proud of his, "Miracle child" Dale who was loved very much. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 49 years Terry, son Dale, brother: Dwight" Ike"(Janet) Crawley, sister: Pam(Jim) Sumler, sister-in-law: Regina Crawley, dearly loved sister-in-law: Linda Dombroskie, and many nieces and nephews. Keith is preceded in death by his parents: Norman and Margery, and brother: James "Jim".

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service at 2pm. Internment will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
