Lester Van Oort age 90, of DeMotte, passed away Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 at Oak Grove Christian Village. He was born in Holland Michigan, on September 17,1931 to Vernon and Jane who precedes him in death, along with his wife Jane, daughters Susanne Van Oort and Kristi Eenigenburg. He enjoyed watching TV and cooking, so much that he opened a restaurant and named it "Wind Mill Inn" and would watch the QVC show every night just to buy things for his kitchen. Lester will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his son, Jeffrey (JJ), daughters, Dawn (George) Klemik, Roxanne (Alan) Timmerman, son in law, Rick Eenignburg, sister, Mary Hamilton, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2-8 PM at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S Halleck Street DeMotte, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 27th, 2021 at First Christian Reformed Church in DeMotte with burial to follow at Holland Cemetery.
