Marylyn “Joanie” (Whobrey) Gregorash, age 77, passed away Saturday, July 9th, 2022. She was born on February 16th, 1945 to the late William and Estelle Whobrey in Hartford, KY. She married Robert “Butch” Gregorash on September 28th, 1963 in Merrillville, IN. He preceded her in death on September 4th, 2021.Joanie loved reading, arts and crafts, and teaching crochet at the Demotte Public Library. She was known to donate her crocheted items to the homeless during the winter months. She was immensely proud of her family, leaving behind beautiful memories. Joanie will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memories is her loving children, Joseph (Faith), Scott (Cindy), Jerry (Chris), and Dawn (Rich) Crowe, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also preceded in her death are her sons William “Bill” and Michael “Mike,” her parents William and Estelle, and siblings, Cornell, Ronnie, and Rita.

The family has chosen cremation at this time with a celebration of life for Butch and Joanie at a later date.
