Obituary for Nancy Vanderborg
Nancy Vanderborg age 78, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 25, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Blue Island, IL on January 20,1943 to the late Lowell and Doris Heinecke who preceded her in death. Nancy is also preceded in death by her son Lee Vanderborg, and brother Joel Heinecke.
She was involved in the Roselawn American Legion, The Grange in Lake Village, and was a member of Roselawn United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, collecting tea pots, gardening, working on her ancestry family tree, and lots of family time. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her sons, John (Christine) Vanderborg, and Tom Vanderborg
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Roselawn United Methodist Church located at 9762 N. Ahlgrim Street, Roselawn, IN at 11 am, with Pastor GayLynn Dykman officating, and a visitation to be held from 10 am till the time of service . A luncheon will be held at the Roselawn American Legion located at 4181 E. State Rd 10 Roselawn, IN at 12:30 pm.
