Norma D Hayes age 85, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Oak Grove Christian Village in DeMotte, IN. She was born on August 21,1936 in Malden, Missouri to Moray and Esther Laxton. Norma enjoyed life to the fullest, she loved the festivals, taking walks, gardening, painting, sewing, fishing, and driving the country roads, especially during the fall when the leaves were changing colors. She was known for being a wonderful cook, canning her pickles and her delicious apple butter. Everyday she would start her day with, The Lord's Prayer. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children: Dorothy(Dave), Kenneth, and Patricia(Bob): sister's Carol Pavey and Imogene Crawford: 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry: sons Gregory and Richard: daughter, Beverly: granddaughter, Kelly: and her parents: Moray and Esther Laxton.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 South Halleck Street, DeMotte, IN with a funeral at 2pm with Pastor Joel Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
