Rebecca Saliga age 55, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Franciscan Health Crown Point with her loving family by her side. She was born in Hammond, Indiana on May 8, 1967 to James and Dolores McCabe. She enjoyed watching Jerry Springer and Judge Judy everyday, watching the Hummingbirds feed and fly around the yard, and playing bingo, if you went over to her house you could always guarantee there was a fresh pot of coffee made, no matter what time of the day she loved her coffee. Rebecca was a loving, kind woman who loved for her family, she never knew a stranger, she always had a smile that was just as beautiful as she was. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Andrew Saliga, children: Erica (Drew) Hudak, Nicholas (Emily), Lucas, and Jared (Elena), grandchildren: Rylan, Kylie, Jacelynn, Ava, mother: Dolores, sister's: Heather (Bob) Sulkowski, Dawn (Jimmy) Raspberry. She is preceded in death by her father: James McCabe and sister, Laura Wrigley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10am to 2 pm at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S. Halleck Street, DeMotte, IN 46310. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm with Father Michael McKinney officiating.
