Richard R. Milner Jr. age 71, of DeMotte, IN passed away Monday, May 10th, 2021 at Franciscan Health Care in Crown Point IN with his loving family by his side. Richard was born on July 6, 1949 to Richard Sr. and Jean Milner in Hammond, IN. On September 26, 1967 he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served 2 years. During his years of duty he received the Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, and Rifle Marksman Badge. Richard's hobbies included guns, fishing, being a pigeon farmer, and he loved attending his church. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 24 years Brenda, son Daniel(Michelle)Milner, James(Shelly), Jackson, Dan(Michelle), Randy(Kelly), and Chris(Brandi), 18 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at 1 pm at Frazier Funeral Home located at 621 S Halleck Street DeMotte, IN with visitation from 11 am till the time of the service with Pastor Steve Worthen officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in DeMotte, IN
