Rose Flatt age 70, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Crown Point with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 11, 1952 in Frankfort, KY to Lewis and Katherine Miller(Compton). Rose was a librarian at the Lake Village Library and taught at Lowell Beauty College for many years. She than decided to stop working and enjoy time raising her children. She loved to "play in the dirt" with her flowers and garden. Also, proud to be from Tennessee. She gave her all every single day for her family, friends and even strangers. She was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold and one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She always put the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Alene (Ken) Meyer from Lake Village, IN, Jimmy Jr.(Edith) Flatt from Cordova, AL, William (Connie) Flatt from Demotte, IN, Betty Laffoon(Marc Gust) from Lake Village, IN. Siblings: Joan (Harvey) Perry, Billy (Gloria) Miller, Stanley Miller, and Barbara (Muhammed) Kazemassareh from TN. sister in law: Peggy Clark from Monticello, IN. and brother in law: Brad(Brenda) Flatt from Morocco, IN. Her greatest loves were her 7 grandchildren Kyle, Kassidy, David, Wyatt, Keeley, Brandon and Lilly and 3 great-grandchildren: Brayden, Hunter, and Penelope. Dog: Joe Joe

Preceded in death by: Husband Jimmy Flatt Sr., Father and Mother Lewis and Katherine Miller, sister Beverly Jane Stone, Father and Mother in law Joseph and Betty Flatt, sister in law Phyllis Pilarski, brother in laws Larry Flatt and Donald Stone.
