Virgie Curtis age 88, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born to Bryan and Rose Clemons on March 20, 1935, in Kentucky. Virgie was a housewife, enjoyed watching The Bold and The Beautiful, garage sales, and writing letters to family and friends. She and her family attended First Baptist Church in Hammond, IN every Sunday and after church they would stop at White Castle for 5 cent burgers. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.

Virgie is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, William "Bud" Curtis, daughters: Gwendolyn Wedding and Dora Hurd, son: William Jr. Grandchildren: Tammy, Charlie, Donisa and Delphine, great-grand children: Franklin, Ruby, Octava, Junior, and Nicole (Ezekiel), sisters Susie Kabela and Ruby Messer.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Bryan and Rose, sister Marie.

Per her wishes there will be a private burial.
